Our History: The Blackhawk Ward was created in 2018 to accommodate membership growth in Pflugerville, Texas – particularly the neighborhoods of Blackhawk, Avalon, and Vine Creek. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints itself was organized in 1830, and today there are over 31,000 wards and branches worldwide.
Our Focus: We actively participate in God's work of salvation and exaltation by striving (1) to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ, (2) to care for those in need, (3) to invite all to receive the Gospel, and (4) to unite families for eternity.
Our Organization: Our ward is divinely organized to help us care for each other spiritually, socially, and temporally. We have men and women groups, as well as children and youth groups that meet regularly.
